Safeguarding

At Radius EWS, the safety, well-being, and protection of every young person in our care is our highest priority. We are committed to providing safe and nurturing support for international students studying in the UK.

We adhere fully to UK safeguarding legislation, including Keeping Children Safe in Education (KCSIE) 2024, Working Together to Safeguard Children (2023), UKVI guidelines, and Ofsted requirements.

To uphold the highest standards of care, we:

- Prioritise welfare – The well-being of students is at the heart of everything we do.
- Ensure safe recruitment – All staff and volunteers undergo enhanced DBS checks and safeguarding training.
- Provide 24/7 support – A Designated Safeguarding Lead (DSL) is always available to respond to concerns.
- Train all staff – Regular safeguarding training ensures all adults understand their responsibilities.
- Have clear safeguarding procedures – Any concerns are addressed immediately and appropriately, following strict child protection policies.
- Foster a culture of openness – Students are encouraged to speak up if they feel unsafe or have concerns.
